Johnson Elementary School School Website Address: History Learning Culture Academic Environment Students enjoy a weekly rotation of "specials" classes including art, media and technology, music, counseling, and physical education. These programs allow students to explore their creative interests and participate in art shows, concerts, track meets, and honor choirs. Our PC lab is fully networked and equipped with many instructional programs and internet learning opportunities supporting classroom curriculum. Fifth graders have their own wing of the building. They have lockers and rotate between classes in preparation for their transition to middle school. Instructional & Enrichment Programs Two programs, Resource and Moderate Needs, Affective, meet the needs of our special education students who attend regular classes. Students with special needs receive individual or small group instruction as needed. Kindergarten students may attend morning half-day classes or tuition-based full-day classes.
